Booklet "The Bridge"

This is a nice WWII era booklet titled "The Bridge" and deals with the Ninth Armored Division under the command of Maj. Gen. John W. Leonard. March 7, 1945 the 9th Armored Division captured the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen and this capture established the first foothold east of the Rhine. This book is dedicated to the men living or dead who courageously carried out the feat. The book was printed in Bayreuth Germany by Carl Giessel. The book has numerous pages with great articles and many black and white pic including the commanding officers that took part in carrying out the mission. This softbound book measures 5 7/8 x 8".
